Passion to Praise You

Out now ·

Faith isn't just something to believe in. It's something to celebrate! Passion to Praise You is an uplifting declaration of gratitude, joy, and an unstoppable desire to grow closer to Jesus. Through life's highs and lows, there's always a reason to lift His name and praise Him with everything we've got.

Why I wrote this

Sometimes, life gives us a hundred reasons to complain.

Things don't always go according to plan. Prayers aren't always answered the way we hope. Challenges appear, disappointments accumulate, and it's easy to become consumed by everything that isn't going right.

But what happens when we stop focusing on what's missing and begin recognizing what's already been given?

Another morning. Another opportunity. Another chance to love, learn, grow, and experience God's presence.

Suddenly, gratitude begins to replace frustration.

And gratitude has a way of becoming something even more powerful.

Praise.

Passion to Praise You is a celebration of that transformation. It's about the joy that rises when faith becomes more than a belief and turns into an overwhelming desire to draw closer to Jesus.

This isn't a quiet, hesitant expression of faith. It's a declaration filled with energy, movement, and excitement.

The song imagines someone so eager to follow Jesus that walking simply isn't enough. There's a desire to run, to sprint, to pursue Him through the crowd, and to begin a marathon that never ends.

But beneath that enthusiasm is something deeply personal.

The longing to be close to Him.

To learn from Him. To hear His voice. To walk through life with His presence as a constant source of guidance, strength, and joy.

Because praising God isn't about pretending that life is perfect.

It's about recognizing that even when life is difficult, there is still goodness to celebrate, grace to appreciate, and a Savior worth pursuing.

And when that realization takes hold, praise becomes more than something we do on Sunday mornings.

It becomes a way of living.

A passion that never stops. A praise that never ends.
