Counterfeit Comfort

Out now ·

A song about the temporary comforts we chase to escape life's pressures—and discovering that lasting peace comes from Jesus, not the things the world promises.

Why I wrote this

We all look for ways to escape the weight of life—a little distraction, another purchase, something to make us feel better. But what happens when those small comforts slowly steal our time, purpose, and the person we're meant to become? Counterfeit Comfort is about recognizing the difference between temporary relief and lasting peace, and discovering that what we've been searching for has been waiting for us in Jesus all along.
